Our club welcomes licence holders of all levels, from newly qualified to experienced commercial pilots. As well as opportunities for licensed pilots, we offer support and advice for advanced training. 

As a flying club run by volunteers, we strive to keep flying costs as affordable as possible. Our membership fees, aircraft hire rates, and instruction costs are typically lower than traditional flying schools. Whilst exact costs can vary, many members find they can self fly hire or receive training such as formation flying and tailwheel conversions at around £100 less per hour than most flying schools

There is no minimum or maximum age limit to join Marlborough Flying Club.  However, to learn to fly with one of our trusted partners, you must be at least 16 years old to fly solo in a powered aircraft and 17 years old to obtain a private pilot’s licence. Our club welcomes members of all ages who share a passion for aviation

Joining our club is straightforward. Start by contacting us through our website or visiting us to learn more about the club and meet fellow aviation enthusiasts. We’ll provide you with the necessary application forms and guide you through the process. Once your application is approved, you’ll have access to our aircraft, training programmes, and club activities.
